Today I took some 1 year photos for my friend’s son, Jack.
What a cutie!
Trying desperately to catch up!
As some of you may know, Toronto is hosting the Pan Am Games. So my friend Nicole suggested we go watch some beach volleyball. We somehow managed to get courtside seats!
Tonight, Brendan and I had our first date night since the birth of Audrey! We love Audrey to death but we enjoyed just being a couple without a baby for a night! Now that my mother can put Audrey to bed there will be more date nights in the future! 🙂
Before our date night, my brother (who kindly drove me to the restaurant) told me about these shipping containers turned food stalls along Dundas Street West (called Market 707). I thought this was such a neat idea!
The “nom nom nom” shop pictured below was named #1 Poutine in Toronto by BlogTO. Of course I had try some of my brothers and happy to say they did not disappoint! 🙂 Coming back for a full poutine next time!
Today is the start of the Pan Am Games in Toronto. I decided to swing by City Hall during my errands run.
It’s going to be a busy two weeks in Toronto!
Have I mentioned how much I love my neighbourhood?
I grew up around this neighbourhood and ended up buying a place just east of here.
One of the best views in the city and the best part is that you can’t build here as it’s a park.
I am finally caught up! (Not to mention how clean our basement is looking as well!)
Feels good to get stuff done!
I needed to get out of my house for a bit so I met up with my friend Ariane. We went to the Farmer’s Market right by her house. It was nice to have a friend date without our babies! I’m starting to feel human again! lol.
Happy Canada Day!
There is a park near our house that has a mini fairground set up. Unfortunately Audrey is too little for the rides this year. We shall return next year to ride the teacups!
Also, here’s a little peek of our reno progress. We now have walls! Hurray!
