Decided to take a trip this morning to the Scarborough Bluffs after dropping off Audrey at daycare. Isn’t it sad that I have never been to the Bluffs? I grew up in Toronto! Shame on me!
I have two more weeks of mat leave – so many chances to explore more of Toronto.
I am back from Camping and moved back into the basement of our home. So I will be playing a bit of catch up!
Camping was fun but tough as it poured for Saturday and Sunday. Audrey seemed to have lots of fun. Since it rained 2 out of 3 days I didn’t get very many photos.
However, on our drive to the site we passed by this field of canola. It was bright yellow! I thought it was pretty neat.

Apparently you were suppose to be able to see the Northern Lights as far south as Toronto. So my cousin and I went for a little midnight drive a little north of Markham to see if we could see it.
Didn’t see anything but the night sky was gorgeous. I wish I had a tripod I could have set up a long exposure shot but this will do. Maybe this will be on my xmas wish list this year!
Here is also a pic of Audrey playing with the backyard dinosaur. 🙂 My MIL leaves this around for little ones to find! I think it’s such a great idea – B and I will be stealing this idea.

Spent the majority of the day cleaning the basement in preparation for our move back into the city. So I didn’t pick up my camera until our drive home from frisbee.
You probably guessed by now, but I am a big fan of sunsets!
Sorry everyone I’ve been meaning to check everyone’s blog but it’s been a very busy week as we are preparing for the move back downtown.
Looking at the sunset from the side view mirror. Wish I bumped the ISO down so it isn’t as grainy.
I went for a walk around the pond today. I decided to check out an area I normally bypass and was so glad I did as I caught this Blue Heron.
Went for a lovely walk with my friend Julie today and her son, Addison, around Toogood Pond.
I took a similar photo about on Day 70 (almost 100 days ago) what a difference 100 days makes! 🙂
Patiently waiting for her frozen yogurt.
All caught up! What a busy weekend! I went to my friend’s bday on the Island, then my best friend’s bachelorette. Then a bridal shower the next day. I think I was ready to pass out by 8pm Sunday evening.
Anyway, I noticed some bumble bees swarming my MIL’s Spiraea plant and I really wanted to capture one of them hovering. I think eventually I would love to get a macro lens.
