The last time we’ll see the walls like this.

Beautiful sunset. I waited about 2 mins too long. I would have caught a spectacular moment but it disappeared so quickly!

Trying a slightly different b/w edit below.

I think I am obsessed with taking pictures of the sunset. Especially when it’s purple and pink like it was tonight!

So Brendan and I went for a short walk after dinner. I was hoping to get some photos of the pretty sunset reflecting into the pond. I couldn’t get any of the pretty clouds by the pond as there were these dark ominous clouds hovering over it. But on the other side away from the pond there were these pretty purple and pink clouds. I can’t wait for more sunsets like this so I can take some photos of it reflecting in the pond.

Brendan and I got to get away for a few hours last night to attend a good friend’s bday party for a much needed break. (Thank you In-laws! :))
I was going to leave my camera at home but decided to bring it and I was so glad I did! The sunset was beautiful last night on the drive down to Toronto. Not to mention the beautiful view of the Toronto skyline!

I didn’t take too many pictures today as Audrey and I were in the car most of the day today. So the only picture I took today (or good one) is one of Audrey sleeping in the car.

Also, wanted to post a picture of our current renovations.
This is looking into the master bedroom & ensuite bathroom. Can’t wait for the renovations to be finish! I’m so excited!

I used Fat Mum Slim’s prompt today – “Paper” – for a fun picture.

I took a picture of the different stages of folding a paper crane. In hindsight, I should have captured my fingers in the shot to scale the crane.

Before heading to bed my MIL told me to go outside to check out the beautiful sunset. So glad she did. I was in the middle of making chicken fingers for Audrey but had to drop everything to go. The sunset was over in about 5 mins!

One last photo!

This one is for Jennifer. 🙂 I wanted to photoshop the painting in the back out because it’s distracting. However.. I figure this picture is just to show you the project so I’m not going to bother.
This is another DIY project I did for my friend. I used stir sticks and stained them to make it into a flower box. I found this on Pinterest.

If you are curious, the flowers in the box consists of:
White Freesia, Waxflowers (the cute little purple flowers with the dark purple middle), Statice (the light purple flowers), Hypericum berries and I think the green one is the Heather plant. If you know what it is please let me know! 🙂
