I am finally caught up on my posts!
I picked up this wooden high chair that I found on kijiji! It’s so easy to clean and not to mention pretty to photograph! I’ve been looking for one for a while and managed to find one for $25 and it was in such excellent condition it doubles as Audrey’s high chair. 🙂
The only downfall is that she’s so squirmy at dinnertime now. So I have to make sure she doesn’t squirm her way out of this chair.
First day back at work. It’s challenging trying to get out the door for daycare for 7:30am. Even more challenging coming home to make dinner, feed Audrey, bathe Audrey, clean and make lunches. Luckily B and I have been preparing for this day and we have a good routine.
Though I am starting to run out of ideas on what to make for dinners. Looking for easy dinners that I can make a big batch the day before. Bonus if it’s toddler friendly! 🙂 I do this so that when I get home all I have to do is heat up the meal. Then I make next day’s dinner and this trend continues for the week. It works so well and is the only way I can get dinner on the table before Audrey gets cranky.
Anywho, some favourites from today:
Took a little stroll at lunch and found this sweet lunch spot. Lots of seating with lots of shade!
This weekend was the first time we’ve had no plans which was perfect as tomorrow is my first day back at work! We spent the day playing, cuddling and enjoying my last moments of maternity leave. So I didn’t take my camera out much today..
We helped B’s brother moved today and by helped I mean watched while playing with Audrey. haha.
In the middle of the cul-de-sac there was this plot of land with overgrown wildflowers and thought it would be a really cute place to take pictures of Audrey.
Audrey and I had the stomach flu last night so I we spent our day napping and cuddling. I managed to take one photo of her.
Audrey is showing signs of being a big girl. I forgot to mention she took her first 3 steps just a few days after her 1st birthday. Now she’s trying to put on her own shoes.
B’s friends from Calgary were visiting Muskoka the same weekend we were there so we paid them a visit!
