I decided to head into Toronto today to check out the Douglas Coupland exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (MOCCA).

There was some neat stuff! (Mostly because I loved the lego art!!)

This one is called “345 Modern House” and is named after the first and last Lego kit that Coupland bought as a child. There were 100 identical houses in piece. It is suppose to represent “the social progress embedded in its repetitive perfection”.

And here is an aerial view.apr162015no3

Now this one was pretty neat. Those “lines” you see are actually pencil crayons!

This piece is called “Spectra Four Seasons”. It’s suppose to represent the visibly changing seasons of a northern climate.

(Also – hope it’s not creepy but I don’t know those people in the photo – they make the picture more interesting.)

He has one more exhibit at the ROM which is only going to be there until April 26. I am going to have to check it out!

Anyway, I know there were some questions in the previous comments I will get to them I promise! Audrey’s sick again and has been waking up every hour so I need to get to her soon! Will get to the comments tomorrow!

Have a great night!
