I find these days I am struggling to take pictures as Audrey becomes more active (crawling and standing!) and I have to make sure she’s not falling and hurting herself. I’m usually rushing to take photos in the afternoon before the sunsets.

Here we are playing in the backyard. Sorry to my mother-in-law.. I let her play with one flower!

Today marked the first day of the Toronto Flower Market!
It’s a market that sells locally grown flowers. If you are interested in checking it out they have one every month until October. The next one is June 13th.

I had to buy a bouquet for myself!

I used Fat Mum Slim’s prompt today – “Paper” – for a fun picture.

I took a picture of the different stages of folding a paper crane. In hindsight, I should have captured my fingers in the shot to scale the crane.

Before heading to bed my MIL told me to go outside to check out the beautiful sunset. So glad she did. I was in the middle of making chicken fingers for Audrey but had to drop everything to go. The sunset was over in about 5 mins!

One last photo!

This one is for Jennifer. 🙂 I wanted to photoshop the painting in the back out because it’s distracting. However.. I figure this picture is just to show you the project so I’m not going to bother.
This is another DIY project I did for my friend. I used stir sticks and stained them to make it into a flower box. I found this on Pinterest.

If you are curious, the flowers in the box consists of:
White Freesia, Waxflowers (the cute little purple flowers with the dark purple middle), Statice (the light purple flowers), Hypericum berries and I think the green one is the Heather plant. If you know what it is please let me know! 🙂

I’ve been busy these past few days preparing for my friend’s Bridal shower today. This is one of the projects I worked on. I bought the birdcage from the Dollarama and spray painted them gold. Then decorated it with flowers. I am very happy with the final product!

These were hanging by the window so I was able to use the light from the window but the entire background was black. Kinda got this picture by fluke! Now I know how to take one of these photos. Will definitely try one of these photos again.
