Today I had a fun shoot with my friend Zoe and her daughter Rowen. This was my favourite from today.
Also, these were my first flower crowns I’ve ever made. I’m going to be making more of these in the future!

Also, I rented a 85mm to take these photos. Definitely a lens to add to my list!

Today we attended our friends’ wedding at this cute venue, Fantasy Farm. It’s located in the city (fairly close to our house) and it was actually my first time visiting it.
Also, today was the first time I did not put Audrey to bed! My mom did. This is a huge step for us and means a little bit of freedom for Brendan and me. I sense some date nights in the near future!

My friend had a bridal shower today and we played this really funny game where every guest brings in a pair of underwear that represents them. Then the bride has to guess who bought it for the bride.

Of course I bring in full bottom undies (second from the left – green stripes) while everyone brings in nice lacy ones!

ALSO – 123 means I am 1/3 into my 365 project! Just 2/3 of a year to go. 🙂

Day 73: March 14, 2015

I attended a friend’s wedding this weekend in Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL). It was our first of many weddings this year. We had such a great time as we hired a babysitter for Audrey for the night. It was tough at first but worked out pretty well for the majority of the night. Here is a shot of our friends, Jeff and Melissa, right after the ceremony.

I just wanted to write a little about my dear friend, Robyn.

Robyn and I lead a pretty similar lifestyle… eerily similar, as someone has mentioned in the past. Here are our similarities:

  • Robyn and Luke (her husband) got married in Sept 2014, one month after us.
  • Jake is exactly one month older than Audrey.
  • Robyn is one of four kids. Brendan is one of four. Luke has a sister. I have a brother.
  • We both love diving.
  • Both love playing sports.
  • Luke is younger than Robyn. Brendan is younger than me.

The list can go on and on. Needless to say, I’m lucky to have a friend like Robyn in my life. And even luckier to share a maternity leave with her.

Anyway, we’ve been talking about visiting the aquarium in Toronto and we finally went today! We had such a great time I would definitely return soon. Here is one of my favourite photos from today.

This was taken in front of one of my favourite exhibits, The Jellyfish exhibit!

I had a super lazy day today and didn’t get out of the house until late afternoon. I brought my camera to the grocery store with me but was really shy about taking it out and taking pictures. Close to leaving the store, I thought to myself, while I guess I’ll just miss a photo today, but then I bumped into friends of ours and their daughter, Ellie. She was being very cute and waving and saying hi to Audrey.

It really makes me look forward to seeing Audrey at that age. But I know I’ll miss the times she use to be so tiny.

Thanks Dani for letting me take Ellie’s picture today. 🙂
